SYNOPSIS




        This book is written in accordance with the syllabus of Electrical Engineering
        Mathematics  for diploma students. Hopefully this book will not only be a major
        reference for PKB students but also diploma student reference in any of the
        Polytechnic institutions in Malaysia.

        The book consists of four sub chapters: Definition of Laplace Transform, Properties
        of Laplace Transform and Differential Equation Method. Each sub chapter is
        deliberately discussed and followed by several selected examples. These examples are
        expected to give a clear picture of the basic principles and concepts discussed in the
        section concerned.

        This book is provided with two main objectives:

        a) Provide understanding to readers about the topics discussed.
        b) Provide adequate training to readers to understand the concepts that are well
        discussed.

        To achieve the above goal, in this book there are two forms of questions:

        a) Examples: Consists of short questions located at the end of the sub topics
            to aim to improve readers' understanding of the theory discussed.
        b) Exercise: Consists of the questions at the end of each title. Questions in
            this section comprise a variety of challenging exercises and varying
            degrees of difficulty aimed at strengthening readership.
